 years ago, on the night of April 18, 1775, a quietbut decisive act of  <br 
 />defiance set history in motion. Freemasons Robert Newman and CaptainJohn 
 Pulling  <br />ascended the steeple of Old North Church, briefly displaying
  twolanterns—a signal that  <br />launched Paul Revere’s legendary ride and
  changed the course of anation. <br />On April 18, 2025, the Grand Lodge of
  Massachusetts, in partnershipwith Old North  <br />Illuminated and the Cit
 y of Boston, will once again light thesteeple, honoring the courage  <br />
 and sacrifice of those who ignited the American Revolution. <br />✨ Event H
