Union Lodge (D) A.F. & A.M.

Union Lodge has a long and interesting history, and its members continue to keep it an active lodge today by continuing its charitable works and community participation.

Union Lodge (D) was established in 1796, twenty years after the American Revolution. Its charter was signed by Paul Revere, who was then the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts. The lodge was formed in Dorchester, one of the largest towns in the Massachusetts Bay Colony until Boston annexed it in 1870. Its members met there for most of its existence.

Today, the lodge meets in Nowood. Its members are from numerous cities and towns in Eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. They bring an interesting mixture of interests, cultures, languages, and backgrounds to the lodge.

Feel free to contact the lodge to learn more about how to get involved.
